A Journey Worth Remembering

There are some journeys that begin with packed crates, careful hands, and the steady hope that the road ahead will be kind.

And then there are journeys that become stories.

This year, Andarag Productions made its way to DieCon, carrying with us the works of the forge: resin miniatures, gaming treasures, handcrafted pieces, and the spirit of the Stronghold itself. What we found when we arrived was more than a convention hall filled with tables, games, dice, and laughter.

We found kinship.

We found new friends.

We found stories waiting to be told.

From the moment the doors opened, the air was alive with the sound every maker hopes to hear: people discovering something new. Gamers stopped by to look over our creations, ask questions, share stories from their own tables, and talk about the worlds they were building one miniature, one campaign, and one roll at a time.

For us, that is where the magic lives.

Not just in the resin. Not just in the paint. Not just in the wood, the signs, the dice rollers, or the terrain.

It lives in the people gathered around the table.

One of the greatest gifts of DieCon was meeting so many amazing people. Some came as customers, some as fellow creators, some as gamers eager to share their favorite systems and stories. By the end of the weekend, many felt less like strangers and more like old friends of the Stronghold.

We also had the chance to learn about some incredible games — and a few truly captured our imagination.

The first was Blood Bowl.

What a glorious bit of chaos.

Strategy, humor, mayhem, and fantasy all crashed together on the pitch in a way that felt impossible not to love. There is something wonderfully ridiculous and brilliant about watching a game unfold where tactical play meets absolute madness. It did not take long for us to understand why the Blood Bowl community is so passionate.

And then there was Blood & Plunder.

That one struck like a cannon blast across open water.

The game itself was amazing, but the people around it made the experience unforgettable. Welcoming, excited, generous with their time, and clearly passionate about what they do — they gave us a glimpse into a world of sails, steel, smoke, and adventure. It was one of those moments where you walk away already knowing: we need to learn more about this.

That, to us, is the heart of a good convention.

You arrive with your own craft.

You leave carrying pieces of everyone else’s.

A new game to explore. A new friend to message. A new idea for the forge. A new spark for the next creation.

DieCon gave us all of that and more.

To everyone who stopped by the Andarag Productions booth: thank you.

Thank you for your kindness, your excitement, your conversations, your stories, and your support. Every compliment, every question, every shared laugh, and every moment spent at our table means more than we can properly put into words.

The forge may shape the work, but the community gives it purpose.

We cannot wait to return next year.

Until then, may your dice roll true, may your tables be full, and may your adventures be worthy of song.

The forge may change but the craft remains — Andarag Productions dwarven forge banner.
