A Discovery in the Depths of Andarag…

Forgemaster's Log, Entry #772

Great excitement echoes through the halls of Andarag Stronghold today.

During the excavation of a long-forgotten vault hidden beneath the lowest tier of the workshops, our most steadfast dwarven delvers unearthed a relic unlike any cataloged in the Record-Stones—a device wrought of gleaming alloys and etched with sigils whose meaning is still debated by the scribes.

The artisans have named it simply: the Laser.

What at first appeared to be a dormant lantern proved instead to be a mechanism of focused, searing light—capable of carving and engraving with a precision so fine it rivals the keening edge of an elven blade or the molten breath of the elder drakes.

With this rediscovered craft, the forge is reborn.

Already, our smiths have begun experimenting with its newfound power:

🔹 Rune-etched slate displays, where ancient language shines clear as daylight.

🔹 Precision-carved tokens and sigils, each stroke a testament to generations of skill.

🔹 Ornate wooden inlays and keepsakes, shaped in patterns never before achieved by hammer or chisel.

Some whisper that the Laser itself was a gift—or a challenge—left by a long forgotten forge master. Whether truth or tall tale, the relic has rekindled the spirit of invention that is the beating heart of Andarag.

This is a new era of craft—where ancient methods meet awakened marvels, and the Stronghold’s legacy stretches further than ever into the realms of imagination.

The forge may change…

🛠️ But the craft remains.
